Philanthropy

Social commitment to science and innovation is essential to making major projects with the potential to improve our future a reality. Philanthropy is one way to turn this commitment into financial support, providing the resources necessary for R&D&I to advance and generate real impact. At Captug, we work to attract and integrate these philanthropic contributions into the funding of each project, expanding their possibilities and reach.

Commitment

Philanthropic commitment to research and innovation can be expressed in different ways, each of which is valuable for promoting projects with social impact. In this context, at Captug, we differentiate two collaboration channels designed to adapt to each donor profile.

Whether through large contributions or workplace giving, our role is to ensure that funds are allocated directly and transparently to the research entities responsible for the high-impact R&D&I projects we promote at Captug.

01.

Major philanthropist

Major philanthropists, often through their foundations, contribute with significant donations.

02.

Workplace giving

Through our collaboration with a social crowdfunding platform, companies can engage their employees in supporting R&D&I projects with high social impact.

Each organization gains access to a personalized selection of active challenges and can join the one that best aligns with its values, enabling participation through workplace giving.

This model allows companies to showcase their commitment to innovation through social action, reinforcing a culture of shared purpose.

Transparency

At Captug, we guarantee that every donation goes entirely to the R&D project selected by the donor. We do not receive any financial compensation from the donations received by the research entities. Each contribution is fully traceable, ensuring that the funds are directed straight to the selected project. Donations are governed by Law 49/2002, which provides tax incentives for those supporting research projects, ensuring a framework of security and transparency for all donors.
